On this episode, the Agile Coaching Exchange Atlanta chapter welcomes Arlen Bankston, Executive VP and Managing Partner for LitheSpeed. Arlen has been actively involved in the application and evolution of Agile software development processes such as Scrum, Kanban and Extreme Programming for over a decade and a half. He is also a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, and was an early adopter in the application of broader lean principles to agile methods to deepen theoretical understanding and drive organizational change. He was one of the earliest Certified ScrumMaster Trainers, and he specializes in the role of the Product Owner, drawing upon first-hand experience in product design and management.

Agile and Lean ideas originated outside of the domains of software and Information Technology (IT) and are beginning a return to these broader origins. Join us as we explore how non-IT teams are benefiting from the same mindset that we use to develop great software, to reach customers and to promote and launch products and services. Our podcast takes place during ACE Atlanta’s monthly chapter meeting. The conversation is expertly guided by Jenn Fix who leads digital strategy and agile process for the Rollins Center, a non-profit program of the Atlanta Speech School. Non-IT areas discussed include Marketing, HR, Finance, and Federal Government.
